MODERN ECLECTIC SOUTHERN CHARM STYLED WEDDING
Partnered with some of the finest vendors in Southern Kentucky, I was simply giddy when I left Ironwood last night. Throughout our entire shoot I kept squealing & jumping because I knew this dream had come full circle. Come, let me show you.
Taylor with Truly Styled was a our lead designer & stylist. Her creative genius of combining modern, rustic, & most certainly eclectic ideas knocked our socks off. From transforming the center of Ironwood, the historic thoroughbred horse barn, into a modern stage set for the bride & groom complete with a one-of-a-kind custom built arbor draped with floor length flowing chiffon on each side & antique large glass jars filled with pampas grass stems on a vintage deep burgundy with white floral print rug; to the farmhouse tables nestled in the back horse paddocks lined with green vines, pomegranates, peaches, a variety of berries & wine bottle candle holders. As you approached your seat at the farmhouse table you noticed the slightest hint of leather in the air. Taylor custom designed leather place mats to pair under the very modern white with gold trim charger, clear dinner plate, gold utensils & navy napkins with custom leather napkin holders. Dinnerware, custom farmhouse tables, seating & wine bottles compliments of A Family Affair Event Rentals.
Our bride & groom were treated to a most delicious dinner prepared by Susan with It's A Southern Thing Catering. The first course was a summer salad of field greens, pickeled peaches, herb goat cheese, & spicy pecans topped with a honey vinaigrette. Followed by our main course, summer succotash topped with golden friend catfish, spicy remoulade & dressed microgreens. A customer designed, live edge high top table housed the delicious down-home southern desserts & a very modern eclectic Almond Citrus two tired wedding cake prepared by Mission Catering Company. Live edge high top table, compliments of Ironwood, was created by Wildwood Revival for this venue & it fit perfectly with the shoot.
The one & only, Rachael Armistead provided hair & makeup for our lovely bride. (She kills it every. single. time.) The wardrobe of our couple came from Amazon & our local Kohl's. Bridal jewelry provided by Tabitha with the Chloe & Isabel Boutique by Tabitha. She has such unique pieces that again, fit perfect with our shoot. Bouquet was created from dried floral arrangements I found at local antique shops & then tied the bouquet together with chiffon ribbon from Honey Silks & Co.
I simply can't thank each of our vendors enough for being part of yesterday. You all worked so hard & I am honored I get to showcase your talents. Not forgetting our model couple either, Stevi & Payton, ya'll are the sweetest. I look forward to getting you back in front of my camera again soon, very soon!
